Louisville, KY FOX41 president and general manager Bill Lamb gives a stunning commentary about everyones favorite stick in the mud, Sen. Jim Bunning.
From Politco:
In his regular "Point of View" segment, which aired Tuesday, Lamb rips Bunning over a recent meeting the two-term senator had with some Kentucky broadcasters. While everyone else in the Kentucky congressional delegation made a good impression, apparently Bunning was not on his best behavior.
Sounds like Bunning is making friends, huh?
Video after the fold.

Snippet of clip for the video impaired:
"Our group met with Brett Guthrie, Mitch McConnell, Ed Whitfield, Ben Chandler, Geoff Davis, Hal Rogers and Jim Bunning. Everyone in that group not named "Jim Bunning" was gracious, well informed, courteous, and interested in the issues.
But Senator Bunning was a different animal. He was rude, cantankerous, condescending, disagreeable and insulting."
Uh-oh....this is gonna be good.
And some more of the juicier snippets:
"Someone once said, ‘Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt,’" Lamb concluded. "Jim Bunning apparently never heard that advice because almost every time he opens his mouth now he's saying something foolish or offensive. My guess is a blow-up doll could beat him in 2010."
With poll numbers like these it's hard to say Lamb is wrong. And Bunning seems determined to keep his numbers right where they are.
The Politico's Charles Mahtesian writes:
I called Lamb to ask about the no-holds-barred commentary and he told me that while he was in a Capitol Hill meeting at the time and has met Bunning several times in the past, he actually missed the gathering in question. But he said he talked to almost everyone who attended and "they were deeply insulted."
Yes, it's always a good thing to end a meeting with everyone involved feeling "deeply insulted", especially when you're running for re-election, after barely surviving the challenge last cycle.
Chalk it up as one more chapter in the book of "the epic fail that is Jim Bunning"
